Needing Your Prayers....

Dearest Persons,
I apologize for not getting a chance to give you a better scoop on last week's homestay. I hope to do that soon. I don't have much time now either but wanted to drop y'all a line... tonight I'm leaving to go on a cruise down the Nile River to visit Luxor and Aswan. I'm super stoked about it!! It will be a great opportunity to rest, relax, read and take many pictures! Hopefully you'll get some great pics in a week or so. Unfortunately, I will not have internet access this next week, so this is my last post for a while.
I'd like to ask that you would pray for me. I've been struggling with homesickness, and it's really hard right now. Many of you know that my Gramma Burkey has been battling cancer, and I've gotten word that it's taken a turn for the worst. It's so difficult to be so far away and not able to go visit or even call her like I'd like to. Pray for me that I could trust Jesus and find comfort in him like never before. And pray for my Gramma and my family... that God would comfort Grandma in this time of pain and that God would strenghten my family and that all of us would lean on Him in a way we never have before.
I love you all so much. Thank you for your prayers. I can feel you praying for me and it makes it a little easier to face each new day.
